Like I could program the most boring video game in the history of the world, and as long a I included a million achievements and an arbitrary progress bar that went from zero to nine thousand, you'd play it forever.

It's literally the game.ĭo y'all even enjoy playing video games? Because this forum really makes it sound like you only play video games to grind meaningless achievements and you never actually enjoy the game itself. They existed long before pointless and arbitrary achievement grinding. it's a Practice Mode That's one of the dumbest things I've ever read on Steam. no supply points, Card Unlocks, Achievements. The only downside with solo campaign is that, as of yet, you can't earn supply point from it. It's simply you and the bots, with some slight adjustement to some objectives (since the bot can't help to carry C4 and such). Originally posted by Zaidah:No one ever said that solo is a "practice mode" as far as I know. There should have been Solo Mode and Multiplayer and they share progression and then have a practice mode that is what Solo is now ~ or being ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about why I'M taking so long when I'm hunting for Copper to do a complete Act Run. I'm sick of getting Sprinters Farming Supply Points and then dropping. At least adding solo progression would allow those people to farm in peace without ruining other people's games. People who don't want to farm will always complain.

You say that, but this is only pushes people to farm Act 2 3-1 since its faster. The current solo mode is great to test out decks and ideas while not ruining online lobbies when things don't work out as planned. Coming back from nightmare to help out veteran matchmaking we already have that toxic mentality that does nothing else but farmin herald of worm all day everyday. And while doing so they would reduce the matchmaking pool even further. If you could unlock and farm in solo there would be people shouting how bad the design is to "force" you to farm hours in solo to unlock stuff for multiplayer. This is not a single player game so the most things in solo play is kept in solo play. You have unlocked every card and you can actually unlock checkpoints for online play as well. Originally posted by RNG_Wizard:Yeah but who in their right mind thought that completing decoupling the game's entire progression system from solo play was a good idea? Sure, everything is unlocked, but why? Why can't I carry decks between gamemodes? Why can't I earn supply points and unlock things in solo? Who made the baffling decision to tape every single gamemode off from one another when there's absolutely no reason to do that? Practice mainly! This was something that was even in Evolve where solo play had access to all of the perks for Hunters and Monsters maxed out, sure Evolve made it so you could earn SOME progression but here's something people likely aren't gonna see coming but I will if TRS goes this route, the progression you got from solo play not only was reduced from online play but was also LIMITED so you would still be encouraged to play Online! Yea, but Evolve was a pvp game.
